AREA

I have found an interesting method in order to teach how to calculate areas in a visual way and make student easier to understand it due to the difficuly it has to them. You can see it whatching the following video which will show you some examples. 

This tool could be useful to diferenciate between areas and perimeter. Even more it could be interesting in order to reacognize shapes, create them and to part them in order to get each area. 

For me it is always useful to know new tools because if we use our creativity and we have a wide range of available tools to use we can adapt activities for every students and look for the right way of teach each one. Also, every new itrument we find it could be adapted for every levels, in the same way we teach areas we can use it to teach basic shapes to young students.

All it is in our predisposition!
